About Laura Owner | Lead Designer
Laura Funai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Parsons, The New School for Design. She started her career as an intern in a boutique design studio in New York City designing commercial workspaces, then began collaborating with fellow interior designers and architects on residential projects ranging from single-family home renovations to furnishings and custom cabinetry.
Laura's fundamental understanding of construction and ability to proactively identify challenges and solutions through a multi-channel approach to design make her an invaluable design partner. Laura's finished works place equal emphasis on beautiful function, ensuring the spaces she designs are both loveable and liveable.
As the owner and lead designer of Funai Interiors, Laura currently works on residential properties throughout the east coast, teaming up remotely and in person with independent designers, companies, and individuals to bring their vision to life.
